How is our county performing?

In 2017, the median price of a single-family home in Berks County was about $164,900, a 12% increase over the price in 2000 (about $146,600 after adjusting for inflation). During this period, the median home price increased steadily and peaked in 2007 at $195,100. Prices then dropped until 2011, when they were essentially flat until rising in 2016 and 2017.
